The Tweed Deluxe was in production from 1948 to 1960. Like the Champ, the earliest Deluxe amps came in the “TV Front” style, later transitioning to the “Wide Panel” design before finally settling on the classic “Narrow Panel” look in 1955.
Without a doubt, the 1957 Tweed Deluxe 5E3 is one of the most revered and sought-after amps in electric guitar history—a true icon of tone.
Our replicas are built with premium components to honor that legacy: RCA tubes, original Domino Mica and Astron caps in the tone stack, Omron tube sockets, a vintage Rola speaker with its original cone, and mostly Allen-Bradley resistors.
